  • Why should my senior attend Grad Night?

Graduating from high school is a significant milestone in a student's life. Your teenager is now going to venture forth into the world attending college, working or taking a gap year. Marking this achievement with a celebration makes it meaningful. The only party that is open to the entire SHS class of 2025 is the Grad Night Party. In past years, over 90% of the graduating class attended the event. For parents, Grad Night offers a worry free, safe, supervised place for your teen to celebrate with their classmates.

  • How can I get involved and help?

That’s easy! Sign up to volunteer.  Click on "Volunteer" from the main menu to learn more about volunteeromg or choose the email button in the upper right hand corner to send an email to our planning crew.  There are many, many jobs that need to be filled.  Some only take 1 hour.  We are grateful for any help you can provide. ALL Senior Families are encouraged to help out for AT LEAST one shift.

  • What will my student be doing all night?

The fun starts at 10 pm and continues until 6 am.  Parents have worked very hard to ensure there is plenty of entertainment, activities, and food for everyone.  In the past, this has included, rock wall climbing, inflatables, photo booths, casino games, prizes, Karaoke, music, dancing, keepsake character drawings, raffle prizes and many other activities.  Ending with watching the sunrise on the football field.

  • Why does my senior need a ticket for Grad Night?

The Grad Night committee wants your student to have an opportunity to celebrate their high school experience. The evening includes games, food and entertainment. All this is covered by the cost of the ticket. The committee tries its very best to keep costs as low as possible. The time and effort put in by the committee is voluntary - your ticket price only goes towards paying for items that need to be purchased for the party.

No. Only students of the Saratoga High School Class of 2025 may attend.

  • What are Memory Boards

    What are Memory Boards?

Memory boards are a cherished part of Grad Night. Parents (or a creative family member) creates a collage of photos and momentos to commemorate their graduating senior. Memory boards are displayed days before and during Grad Night. The seniors love to see each other's boards. After Grad Night, you may keep the board as memory of your student's high school years.

  • Is the Grad Night party different from Senior Prom?

Yes, these are two separate events. The Senior Prom is an event hosted by the Student Council (ASB), and is a formal affair normally hosted in an off-campus location.  The Senior Class Officers will be communicating with your students about the Senior Prom. Grad Night is an informal event held on-campus and is organized by the SHS Parent Community and the SHS School Staff. It is not an official school event since your child is no longer a student at SHS after they graduate earlier on this day!
